
Merry People is an Australian company specialising in fashionable and functional gumboots that are 100% vegan. Founded in 2014, Merry People has been successful across the US and Australia.
However the gumboot market is competing with well known established brands it is difficult to cut through the noise.
The company wanted a quick, unbiased, accurate read of their brand in Australia and the US and their key global competitors.
What did Maven Data do?
We conducted a brand test to identify what these markets think, feel and deeply care. This gave the brand insights into why their competitors were successful in engaging the fashion shoes and gumboot market and established a benchmark for which to measure the effectiveness of their marketing and promotion activities.
The outcome
We will wait and see as these insights are being implemented during 2021. No doubt the Merry People brand will be building their brand engagement in the market.
